Background and Experience
Aydin Egitim,Kültür ve Sanat Dernegi is a non-profit/non-governmental organization established in the city center of Aydin which has a population of nearly 200.000 (close to 1 million with its suburbs). Our organization has been established with the purpose of raising awareness and interest in adult education and preserving cultural heritage (especially traditional arts, music and handicrafts) as well as in volunteering actions, and preparing our members and learners in the fields of handworks, music and art as a means of social inclusion. |

Some of our learners are in struggle to make their living in bad or inadequate conditions face many difficulties in their daily and social life. There is a high unemployment level(%16) in the town. There are a lot of learners who are at the risk of social exclusion because of the social-economical disadvantages. Our learners are 14- 70 years old. We as AYEKSA train and open courses about Foreign Languages especially English,Spanish and German, art, music and AR,VR, Software and web 2.0 tools for our learners in order to improve their skills and ease them find a job meeting the demands of the labor market They give special prioritity to digital skills as they are increasingly important in all job profiles across the entire labour market. By comparison with other experiences, methods and knowledge, Our organization has 5 administrative staff and beside these 5 people we have got 12 people directly and actively involved in our organization’s work and activities. More than 26 volunteers take part indifferent times and in different activities of our organization. Most of our educational staff are teachers working in the public schools and university students and the active members working at our organization voluntarily eagerly want to gain new experiences and good examples
in order to transfer and use them in our activities so that we can have the chance to improve competence, knowledge and conscience of our learners. Our mission is to educate students as character-wise ,honest, participative, having moral values, self-confident ,educatory for his/her country, researcher ,knowing universal values, being aware of duties and responsibilities ,respectful to different cultures ,innovative following to age and innovations, knowing to live happy ,healthy and successful.

Our association has experience of internationalization and has an overwhelming desire to improve the quality of the internationalization of our institution.
Our Activities:
As major changes are continuing to take place in the social domain in Turkey we at Ayeksa keep matching the professional skills and needs to assist and train citizens to strengthen their skills and stimulate them to take personal responsibility for solving their own problems or integrating into society as rapidly and smoothly as possible.
Ayeksa focuses on a variety of social obligations – child and youth care, support for vulnerable people, labor participation and educational support on a municipal level.
Our knowledge encompasses societal issues, which also affect ethnic groups. We accomplish this by means of training, courses, and theme days. In addition, we fulfill an advisory role that is offered to professionals concerning the application of acquired knowledge.
Ayeksa offers training that are beneficial to policymakers, professionals, and volunteers who are employed in the area of social care and well-being. We offer new trainings throughout this year.
Social Commitment:
Besides administering knowledge, we also organize activities and projects for (vulnerable) groups of different ages and backgrounds. We assist in the implementation of projects and activities with the help of our volunteers. These projects and activities consist of informational meetings,language courses, recreation, sports, art, culture, and/or citizenship.
Our projects and activities include the following objectives:
• To fully make families a part of society in all its form (health, education, financial)
• To enlarge the self-reliance and job market position of vulnerable groups
Our work method is very important for many learners. Ayeksa uses a personal and familiar approach and a good relations development process.
Over recent years, Ayeksa has had a lot to do concerning questions and complaints about discrimination of people who are looking for work, parents who complain that their children are being discriminated against at school or at a sport’s club. Stereotyping and prejudices hereby play a crucial role. It has several projects running from Department of Justice, or Ministry of Interior Ministry integration.

Most of our educational staff are teachers working in the public schools and the active members working at our organisation voluntarily.We have written to the project on our own capacity .They have a
never ending willingness to ensure that all people reach their maximum potential. They constantly strive to ;reach and teach every person under their care. They devote themselves to their jobs and their
country. They believe that they have good in human and social relations,good presentation skill, strong communication skill and ability of coordinating and organization. They have lots of certificates of various local and national courses and seminars about their profession and using technology in Turkey. They have been trying to regenerate day by day by applying them ..
